Joining With_ in 2018, Murray’s role as a senior project architect sees him taking responsibility for the delivery of projects from inception through to final handover. Working as an architect for over 27 years in London, Brisbane and Perth, Murray has gained extensive experience on private and public sector projects including metropolitan and regional health, education, CBD commercial and high end residential.

The most enjoyable part of architecture for me is watching well considered design and detailing being made by hand into well crafted spaces and objects.

Previously to joining With_, Murray was the project architect for the State Comprehensive Cancer Centre at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, the Denmark Regional Hospital and multiple metropolitan regional helath projects. Commercial projects include the restoration and development of the heritage buildings on St Georges Terrace for the Brookfield Place project as well as the revitalisation of the QV1 plaza and luxury end of trip facility. At With_, Murray was involved in the construction phase of the Carine Senior High School Redevelopment and the documentation phases of Yanchep Secondary College Stage 2 and the new Guildford Grammar boarding house.

Working on the design and delivery of complex building types in new and occupied sites, Murray has developed skills in leading project teams and consulting disciplines to develop and deliver designs that maximise the brief’s opportunities and fulfilling the client’s aspirations for the project..
